Task 2:
Analysis considering height of interveining terrain

2.1 Introduction |
The analysis completed in
task 2 determined representativeness based on inter-site correlation using
IMPROVE aerosol data. Inherent in that analysis are the effects of
emissions, transport, chemical transformation at all spatial scales. The
analysis in this task only considered the effects of terrain using a
trajectory model. The basic methodology that was used in this task was to
utilize air mass trajectories to determine the similarities of air masses
between the tribes and nearby IMPROVE monitoring sites. |
