The California Central Valleys Region |

| There are no IMPROVE
monitoring sites within this region as shown in this
map. All of the
IMPROVE sites are located at higher elevations or are located in a
sufficiently different region that does not allow us to say that it is
similar to the central valley region. However the California Air
Resources Board operates a network of
PM2.5 samplers
in the central valley that would provide information on fine particulates
useful to tribes located in this region. Seven of those PM2.5 collect
speciated data (Bakersfield,
Chico,
Fresno,
Modesto,
Sacramento,
Sequoia
National Park,
Visalia). |
