Recommendations
Nevada-Southeast Oregon Cluster
|
| Based on the methodology
presented thus far, there is a cluster of tribes in and around the Great
Basin region that are not represented by an IMPROVE monitoring site.
These tribes include: |

| Battle Mountain Band of Te-Moak,
NV |
| Burns Paiute Tribe, OR |
| Fort McDermitt Tribes, NV and
OR |
| Summit Lake Paiute Tribe, NV |
| Winnemucca Indian Colony, NV |
|

| We group these tribal areas
together since they all are generally in remote regions of northern Nevada and
southeastern Oregon.
All of the tribes are distant to any large metropolitan areas and industrial
source regions. Because
of the distances to the nearest IMPROVE sites are greater than 150 km, we recommend a new site to
represent this group of tribes. |
