Brigantine NWR Trends Analysis

The tables and figures below show the trends analysis results for 20% worst, middle 60% and 20% best days at BRIG1 based on light extinction coefficient data from 1993 to 2004 (no complete aerosol data is available in 1996 and 1998). Overall, there is no significant trend in aerosol light extinction coefficients in 20% worst days. But there is a statistically significant decrease trend in sulfate light extinction coefficients in 20% worst days. Significant decrease trends in light extinction coefficients are found in 20% best and middle 60% visibility days, caused mainly by decrease in light extinction coefficients of sulfate, elemental carbon and coarse mass.
